How to pack
Select package
Find the right box. Use a sturdy box to wrap your package. Soft, dilapidated boxes may break during transit and will not protect the contents of the package from possible damage. You can use a moving box, purchase one from the post office, or use store-bought packing boxes, but always in excellent condition. For an additional fee, you can order a box from your chosen courier service. Write about the need for a box of the required size in the comments to the order. If there are stickers, markings, old addresses on your box, remove them to avoid confusion in the warehouse of the courier service and during transportation.
Instead of a box for non-fragile contents, you can use sweat bags or regular plastic bags, which are firmly sealed. Do not use cloth bags for packaging. Courier services provide the postal package free of charge. Ask for the package in advance when placing your order in the comments.
Put the documents in your envelope or request an envelope from the courier service in the comments to the order. The envelope is provided free of charge.
Package content
Place foam, kraft paper or bubble wrap in the box to protect the contents of the package and fill the empty space, depending on the fragility of the contents. We recommend that you put at least 5 cm of filler layer. Each layer of filler is an additional layer of protection.
Put one copy of the invoice and other accompanying documents (if any) inside in advance in case of customs check of the contents of the parcel.
Close the lids, joints and corners of the box securely with wide tape or special packing tape. Do not use rope to wrap your parcel! It may break during transport. For greater safety and protection from damage and moisture, wrap the box tightly with cling film or stretch wrap and secure with tape.
Measure and weigh your parcel
When everything is packed, weigh and measure your package (length, height, width). Each shipment undergoes control weighing and measurement at the warehouse of the courier service. If it turns out that the parcel is heavier or larger than the one specified when placing the application, an additional fee will be charged from the sender.
Do not weigh or measure only the contents of the package separately from the packaging. The weight and dimensions of a parcel are the weight and dimensions of the shipment together with the outer packaging.
Prepare supporting documents
Print two copies of the parcel invoice. The invoice is saved in your personal account, and also automatically comes to the e-mail specified during registration. Sign both copies of the invoice. Attach one copy in a file or a transparent pocket per shipment. On the second, the courier will sign for the receipt of the shipment, this copy remains with you.
We recommend that you legibly duplicate the address and contacts of the sender and recipient with a permanent marker on the box or outside of the package.
If the parcel requires an invoice or other accompanying documents for the contents, attach them securely to the box or the outside of the package in a file or a special pocket.
